At BE|Sport, we believe that athletic development should be a gradual and ongoing process that begins at a young age and continues through adolescence and into adulthood. That's why we've developed a long-term athletic development model that is tailored to the unique needs and abilities of youth aged 8 and above.
Our program is designed to help youth athletes develop fundamental movement skills, build overall athleticism, and establish healthy habits that will last a lifetime. We focus on developing a wide range of physical attributes including strength, speed, agility, coordination, balance, and flexibility to help local youth become well-rounded athletes.
We use evidence-based training methods to ensure that every athlete is training safely and effectively. We also place a strong emphasis on injury prevention, ensuring that athletes are learning proper technique and movement patterns from an early age.
Our long-term development model is divided into 4 different levels, each with specific goals and objectives. We start with a focus on movement exploration and fundamental movement skills, then progress to building overall athleticism, and finally move into more sport-specific training as athletes reach the varsity level.
By taking a long-term approach to athletic development, we help athletes build a strong foundation for success in any sport or physical activity they choose to pursue. With our expert coaching, supportive community, and evidence-based training methods, we're confident that your child will thrive in our long-term athletic development program.
LEVEL 2: JR HIGH
FOR YOUTH GRADES 6-8
Reinforce and expand on foundation developed in Level 1
Intro to resistance training to further develop strength and power
Intro to sprint mechanics to further develop speed and agility
LEVEL 3: JR VARSITY
FOR ATHLETES GRADES 9-10
Reinforce and expand on movement skills developed in Level 2
Add volume and intensity to build work capacity
Intro to barbell training
Intro to advanced speed training concepts
LEVEL 4: VARSITY+
FOR ATHLETES GRADES 11+
Reinforce and expand on movement capacity developed in Level 3
